Ms. Pelzig has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. She joined Hess in 2008, with responsibility for Hess Corporation's sustainability reporting and verification, including the annual corporate sustainability report, Carbon Disclosure Project information requests, and investor ESG surveys. Ms. Pelzig also provides support for Hess' corporate climate change strategy and programs. Prior to joining Hess, Ms. Pelzig was a Partner at ERM, specializing in corporate environmental and social governance systems for Global 500 companies. She began her career with Dowell-Schlumberger in South Texas prior to holding environmental management positions in the petrochemical industry. Ms. Pelzig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and biochemistry from Southampton College, a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Texas A&M University -- Corpus Christi, and a Master's degree in biochemical sciences from Princeton University.
