Is there a carbon risk for investment community and what can it do?
Do institutional investors carry a financial risk with respect to carbon emissions? Investors have a diversified portfolio of assets, particularly in the carbon intensive industries that have shown excellent financial returns in the energy sector. Are the companies in these sectors fully disclosing their carbon risk? Will the European Trading Schemes force companies in the industries that have received allocations of carbon, to reevaluate their earnings and risk? Representatives from both sides of the debate will engage and share their perspective on this vital issue.
