Michael joined Rabobank Foundation in1995 after his return from Sudan where he had been doing volunteer work in community informal microfinance schemes. Before going to Africa he had spent three years with NMB Bank(ING) where he was engaged in loan risk management of international loans. The last six years he has been working as a senior manager with Rabobank Foundation concentrating mainly on Latin America and acces to finance in sustaianble supply chains and the development of social ethical investment funds.
He enjoys dancing, motorcycling, cycling and running.
