Marcus has been working in the banking industry since 1996. Since March 2009 Marcus is in charge for the Sustainable Investment Research of DZ BANK AG coordinating all SRI related activities in institutional equity research. He is also a member of the DVFA Commission Non-Financials.

Marcus joined DZ BANK AG in 2006 being responsible for the coverage of European telecom stocks. He was recognized by Starmine in 2009 as the No. 1 Earnings Estimator in the category European Telecommunication Services. Prior Marcus worked for equinet AG where he was responsible for coordinating the German SRI Research activities of the European Securities Network (ESN). In addition he was in charge of covering several German consumer and electronics stocks.

Marcus has graduated from the University of Mannheim, Germany’s No. 1 ranked business school, where he has studied Business Administration with cultural and linguistic emphasis on Japan. During that time he has already done extensive research in the fields of Corporate Citizenship, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance, especially in Asia.
