Philipp A. Pausder is the Co-Founder and MD of FutureWatt, the first end-to-end energy service firm, specialized on German midcaps, helping them to capitalize on the opportunities derived from the German Energiewende. He is also the founder of Clean Venture, a boutique M&A and transaction advisory firm for distributed energy deals. Since its inception in January 2010, Clean Venture has been advising on 14 distributed energy deals across 4 continents with a total value of more than $1 billion. Prior to starting his own firm, Philipp worked for Applied Value, a Stockholm-based strategy and investment firm, where he was the project manager of the global restructuring of a world-market leader in telecommunication. Throughout his career, he has been in charge of projects in energy, high-tech and asset management across 35 countries. Philipp was recognized by Thunderbird University, USA as "Global Champion of Sustainable Innovation 2007" for his development of emerging markets business models for Merck and Johnson&Johnson.

He holds an MBA in Finance with highest distinction from IE Business School, Madrid and an MA in Marketing and Strategy from FU Berlin.
