Dr. Arman Vardanyan is senior fund manager of two “Dual Return Fund - Vision Microfinance” funds. Dr. Vardanyan has over 15 years professional experience in the area of financial market operations and risk management. His previous positions include Head of Investment Operations Department and Deputy Executive Director for Armswissbank as well as several senior positions in the Central Bank of Armenia, such as Advisor to the Chairman, Director of the Financial Operations Department and Head of the International Operations Department.

Dr. Vardanyan holds a doctorate in economics (PhD) from Armenian State University of Economics for research into new institutional economics and transaction cost economics applied to emerging economies and developing countries. Arman authored around 20 research articles on economics and finance, in part focused on institutional aspects of microfinance industry.
Arman Vardanyan holds master‘s degree in business administration (MBA) from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota (USA) and Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).
